As of Friday evening, Leon County has 174 confirmed coronavirus cases, according to the Florida Department of Health. That is a 10-case jump from the morning's report.

DOH also confirmed one person has died of the virus in the capital county. While DOH did not elaborate, Tallahassee Developmental Center officials confirmed the 62-year-old man who died was a resident at the home for adults with developmental disabilities.
