Order up your pastrami on rye at the Jewish Food Festival
2020欧洲杯正规平台It’s that time again – time to whet and satisfy your appetite for genuine Jewish food, a one-time-each-year tradition here in Tallahassee, all of North Florida and southern Georgia.
2020欧洲杯正规平台The at Temple Israel brings on the noodle kugel and more on Sunday, March 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Temple Israel, 2215 Mahan Drive.
Corned beef, pastrami, potato knishes and cheesecake from New York City’s famed Carnegie Deli wholesale operation. Sandwiches made on real Jewish rye from Tallahassee’s own Tasty Pastry Bakery.
Bagels, lox and cream cheese. Falafel. Hot dogs. Homemade matzah ball soup, stuffed cabbage, noodle kugel and scrumptious pastries, all lovingly prepared by Temple Israel’s own congregants.
2020欧洲杯正规平台Also awaiting the thousands of area residents who avidly attend this festival each year: more than 25 art vendors will display arts, crafts and other attractive goods and services, a children’s play area, and a myriad of musical delights will be present throughout the festival as well.
For musical enjoyment, choirs Shiru Shir and Bo’u Nashir will be taking the stage early in the day and later our own Bagels and Biscuits will be rocking out on the stage with their eclectic Jewish sound. The afternoon is filled with Klezmer, Jazz, Israeli Dancing lessons and Jewish folk music.
Temple Israel congregants and their supporters and suppliers have been working on this 2020 edition since last year’s festival closed its doors. Come early. Many of the most luscious delicacies sell out during the day.

Parking: Parking will be across the street at Radiology and Associates. Free admission and shuttles will take Festival goers to and from the event. Cash and credit cards are welcome for food purchases but some of the vendors may be cash only, and animals are welcome in outside areas.
